“We did not realize the paucity of human intelligence that the administration had on Iraq”
In an obvious admission of what has been known for much longer than last fall, a report issued yesterday by the Senate Intelligence Committee makes it clear no link existed between Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaeda in Iraq. And while the report, not surprisingly, refused to draw any conclusions regarding the use of false evidence as justification for the occupation of Iraq under the Bush administration, it continues to get easier and easier to do so.
