Bush and Olmert Declare Victory But Did Israel Actually Lose?

Bush has claimed the recent military campaign in Lebanon by Israel has ended in a defeat for Hezbollah. The U.N. enforced ceasefire has opened up serious criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Olmert. A former Israeli soldier's article points out how much of the Bush and Olmert praise for the recent aggression is hype. It appears that not only has it created more support for Hezbollah inside Lebanon, bolstered their fighting ability, and generated stronger criticism of Israel throughout the Arab world, it has created an important division within Israel itself.
